Capacity Masking: Smart operators can take a 64Mb flash drive and make it appear to be a 512, 1024 or even 4Gb. You will not know you have been ripped off until you try to copy data to the drive.
Second Hand: There is a huge recycling market in China. Second hand parts save money.,
Waste components: The major chip manufacturers have a classing system similar to the diamond industry.
